About Elise

Hey! My name is Elise & I am the creator and owner of Good Dogs Club.

I have always been an animal person, as a child my home was filled with animals & this lead to me following a career in animal care.

I went to Uni in my early 20’s & gained a bachelors in Animal Management. Following this, I worked in Zoo’s & Aquariums as a penguin keeper & aquarist (fancy name for someone who looks after fish & other aquarium species). Before deciding to travel Australia & New Zealand in my late 20’s.

While travelling I missed having animals around, they have always been such a big part of my life so I started pet sitting & walking while living overseas. It was while doing this that I found I just have a natural nature around pets, they just seem to feel calm & at ease in my presence.

I decided to move home to Leigh-on-sea & continue to build Goods Dogs Club as a place were I can continue to offer dog walking & pet sitting services, whilst also gaining my Canine Hydrotherapy qualification to support dogs health & recovery.

About Good Dogs Club

Good Dogs Club was created from a genuine love for dogs & a desire to offer something a little more thoughtful, calm & personal. I believe dogs deserve to feel safe, understood & free to be themselves, not rushed, overstimulated or treated like part of a production line.

My vision for Good Dogs Club is to create a small, trusted, community-style service where dogs are cared for as individuals, not numbers. Where shy dogs are given time, sensitive dogs are respected & big personalities are celebrated.

In time, I hope to expand into canine hydrotherapy, offering gentle, supportive rehabilitation & wellness sessions alongside my walking & home care services. The goal is to create a space that truly supports dogs physically & emotionally throughout their lives.
